Wittingen (German pronunciation: [ˈvɪ.tɪŋ.ən]is a town in the district of Gifhorn, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Gifhorn, and 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Uelzen.
