After completing his studies, Eric returned to Ithaca, New York, and founded Ithaca Stringed Instruments in 1987. Since then, ISI has been dedicated to crafting high-quality violins, violas, cellos, mandolins, and custom guitars. The instruments are known for their exquisite tone, playability, and unique ISI Pickup System. ISI instruments are played by influential artists such as Jean Luc Ponty, Darol Anger, Tommy Malone, and David Torn. In addition to building instruments, ISI also offers repair and restoration services for all stringed instruments. With a passion for creating instruments that excel in both acoustic and amplified settings, Eric Aceto and Ithaca Stringed Instruments continue to be at the forefront of the industry, providing musicians with exceptional instruments that meet their diverse needs.
