Native Fields is a family-owned restaurant and cafe in Walnut, California, committed to empowering suburban communities to choose whole foods over processed options. The restaurant provides access to farmer's market produce and supports local businesses by stocking specialty goods from companies native to California. Owned by sisters Chef Cat Castaneda and aspiring Registered Nurse Christine Cornwell, Native Fields opened in 2018 and offers 100% locally sourced, non-GMO, and pesticide-free ingredients, with options for vegetarian and vegan diets. The restaurant also provides grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, and pasture-raised eggs.
