Professional Development Program

The Professional Development Program is a university-based continuing professional education program with over 30 years of experience in providing various educational courses. With an enrollment of more than 25,000 students, it has served through over 3,500 instructional activities. The program offers a wide range of courses including e-learning solutions, project management, graphic design, conference planning and management, and web design and development. Additionally, it also offers courses in account adjustment, microbiology, computer application, child support, database management, life skills, and substance abuse. The program's evaluation unit conducts comprehensive training evaluations using various instruments and methods, including surveys, pretest and post-tests, assessments of job skills, and focus groups. Operated under Rockefeller College, the Professional Development Program is located in Albany, N.Y.
